Following the tenets of the Ki Society, the Cultural School teaches that the aim of Aikido is to move with an opponent and redirect their movement. Ideally, the use of Aikido should result in little or no physical harm to the attacker. The more one is able to calm their mind and the greater they're able to control their own body, the better able they are able to achieve this. Your opponent goes where he wants to go and falls where he wants to fall.
